MTV Features A Foreign Affair's Romance Tour

In January'03 MTV featured A Foreign Affair's St. Petersburg Romance Tour. The title of the show was SEX 2K: FROM RUSSIA WITH LUST.

Please don't let the title deter you (there isn't any actual "sex" in the show, as our tours are anything but sex-tours) - MTV, as other commercial media, must exaggerate somewhat in order to get people to tune in. It was really a documentary focusing on one man's experiences during the 14-day St. Petersburg Romance Tour. The program gave a sense of what the tour can be like; there were some great Russian scenery shots and, of course, some very beautiful Russian women.

MTV was in Saint-Petersburg for two weeks, shooting hours and hours of footage, but that was just a half-hour show, seen only through the eyes of one tour participant, so you could get only some idea of what the Romance Tour is like.

As a footnote, we notified all of our clients about the presence of MTV prior to the tour departing and made sure that everyone was comfortable with it. No one was included in the feature that did not expressly wish to be included, and the filming did not interfere with the group in any way, as a matter of fact, we had a large number of engagements from that particular trip, which is the case with most of our tours.

As you all know I was engaged in Nizhny Novgorod on our trip. When I returned I hired an attorney to do all the paperwork. Today I recieved the approval of that Visa from the INS, it now goes to the National Visa Center for processing which will take approx. 2 weeks, from there Marina will have her interview in Moscow and then come here.
